Yes there are some days where you better say from start...hmm no, I'll drive this shit to the shop and let them do it .....You pay, they do it and you relay and drink al cold Bud
Thank you Jeepwalker, I see what you mean now.
I think I'm gonna let them rebuild like OEM , they are changing the entire panels..If It's NOT possible, then yes I'm asking them to rebuild it with square tubes.
Bonjour voisin;)
Mine did blow hot too after a short with battery, checked all fuses of the AC and it was final just the dumb relais. Changed the relais and the AC worked fine again.
I will, got an appointment only on November 13.... they think to do it in max 2 weeks.
The Guy don't buy the panels too much time to search and too expensiv to get them shipped over here. But the old car body builder inside says he can do them, cut them, ply and cut some good metal and weld it...
Not with the right treatment : like the chassis of my 30 years old Suzuki Samurai, filled up 2 times with ship cord grease, heated at 95° Celsius. Then you must let it rest for 5 days and it's dry out.
The outside, painted first with Rustoleum or Hammerite then with an industrial 2 component...
Thanks for the ideas, I've already contacted a Garage, they are oldies and do lots of US cars, they also sad no problem to do, we cut out weld new or made ones that we bent in and isolate them immediately with rust protection.
So.... I think that's gonna cost me 2 or 3000$ but i don't...
