Putting a transfer case in neutral and thus having it in 2WD is like emptying a cup of water and calling it half full. You've got two very distinct states with no possible overlap. Maybe it's like putting my transmission in neutral to limit it to first and second speeds? :rolleyes:

Cut the tip off the end of the drain lines to remove the point at which they are blocking. And Flexseal the sunroof opening. :)

Any indication why it was charred? Getting too much voltage? Frayed wire? Have you had the alternator tested and is the internal voltage regulator working properly?

I'd try undoing the bolt completely and try re-indexing the key. It may or may not line up, but that's where I'd start. Curious, where did you get that recommendation?

Could be related to ABS, steering, cruise control, and probably a dozen other systems. You likely just need to review your work and compare the fuses to the layout in the owner's manual or top of fusebox.
