you have both sides disconnected (ubolts loose and leafs not attached to the diff)? Tires off the ground? That way you can shift the diff to the right spot for the dowels to line up.

Sounds to me the oil pan gasket needs changing. I'd try replacing that first before changing the engine.

Here's a video of me turning by hand the driveshafts. Not sure if that's a legit test or not to test for bad u-joints, diff play, etc.???

Oh duh, ya, let me power brake it (or wife) and see what the motor is doing. The motor was ALSO done (rebuilt) by the PO, so I doubt they'd put in a bad motor mount back on.

Tranny mount LOOKs fine, but can't be 100% sure. The transmission like I said, was rebuilt maybe 30k miles ago by the PO, so I doubt they'd (have the receipt so done by pros) put in a bad mount.

Not sure if it's motor mounts as doesn't do it in P or N. Doesn't happen all the time. Of course, if I feather the throttle, it won't do it. It doesn't really make a sound; if it does, it's real faint; it's mainly felt. I'd say, if I'm rolling/coasting at 15mph and I step on it say, 25%+...

got urethane diff bushings (all three), yet still got this thud. how to check if my driveshafts and/or u-joints are bad? I went underneath and twisted the shafts by hand, but both were tight. hoping it's not pinion lash/slop in one or both diffs. or worse, transmission output shaft...

ya, your evap system is messed up. Probably need a new charcoal filter/canister.

oil leak still bad, but can't locate it? If you have good compression and you're not burning oil, then I'd chase down that leak. Maybe a rear main seal, but hard to say. Be cheaper and easier to just fix the leak me thinks.

If you have leaking gas from filling it up, then you have a bigger issue than sagging springs.

OP has a 2008 so may work. pry off a rear switch and let us know

it appears starting in 2009, rear switches has NO PROVISIONS for a light bulb whatsoever

my rears were full of dirty. Worth the extra 40+ minutes to clean them.

I removed my mirror. Too low (gets in the way) and that stupid backup camera that's so tiny and washed out was useless. ALready have a nice, AHD backup camera for my android auto radio. Replaced it w/this. Works awesome...
