This will be the season of the 14 bolt. Last time around had other commitments that barred me from completion.

Actively ordering parts, figuring out tone rings and sensors, and looking toward using eldorado calipers for the parking brake function.This is a newer 14 bolt so nothing will be direct bolt on like an older 14 bolt. Excited to get this under the truck before sand hallow

Looking back, it was not the season of the 14 bolt. And I, in fact didn’t make sand hallow.

Changing that outcome this year, @cgalpha08 ‘s progress is lighting a fire under me to get everything done. Acquired all parts to my half door. 14 bolt project is moving. Might show up to sandhallow 4 inches taller. Lots may happen in the next 6-8 months.

With life as busy as it is and with sandhallow coming up, have to make some decisions.

With all the HMMWV and H1 Work going on at PHR there’s been no time to get the 14 bolt built, let alone have any down time to do a spring over. Plus it’s wheeling season.

After doing the 4 parts worth of rancho redux’s I plan on installing the rancho. Thanks to vay for giving me some 2” wheel spacers so I can run stock wheels with the 35’s. Plan on running bilstein 5100’s, running stock rear springs with add a leaf and shackles. If the rear end sags too much I’ll add airbags.

Beyond that, I have a few others smaller things to install. Some rock lights, updated light bars, interior stuff, half door, etc. should be a busy winter

Front ends about wrapped up, waiting on some measurements so I can fabricate some bump stops, need to order shocks, etc.

For the rear I’ll be buying a new set of leafs and sending them to get rearched about 2” (whatever the fab tech add a leaf is), pair it with a 6” long shackle and that should work until I get the 14 bolt under.

Been researching and calling around about leaf springs. All said and done I can finish the rear for $400-600, and that’s getting the factory springs to work (not deavers, which are ~$1100). I’d rather put that money into the 14 bolt and just get it over with. I can save next year right?

Cleaned up the hubs, sending them out to get sandblasted and machined for tone rings.

At least get new mains. It will buy you time and save some money. Depending on your timing I might be able to deliver them.
For the 14 bolt I was planning on stock springs for the spring over. If I don’t get the lift I want I’ll go from there, prices are rediculous for locally made lead springs now a days.

Lots of small fires getting put out, needed a weekend to work it and plan it out since January. 2 weeks out and it’ll be driving. Shocks won’t get here until the second week in May, which will be the last piece.

Xj bar pin eliminator machined out for the H3, going to run a bead on the other side to compensate for the amount of weld machined out.

Better late than never to paint my tomp low profile mounts, slapped them on raw 4 years ago.

Buddy of mine helped save me some time with fabricating some bump stop mounts for me. We decided to box it in for strength.

Have brakes, brake lines, upper control arms, and small various stuffs to finish it out.

After, the plan is to fabricate some skid plates for the rubicon in the fall, unless someone’s current set works.
