Sounds great, but that's a bit of a drive in an H1. I would love a light bar, but to poor right now to afford the diesel. lol

I'm a bit interested in two 20's or possibly even two 30's; can I get a price pm'ed?

I would also be interested in the 50" for the H1, but I won't be back to my truck for another three months so I couldn't help with pictures...

I'll start planning the mount tonight! Its heavyer then I thought it would be.. I'll have to take that into account when making the mount that forsure! but other wise looks great!

People at work are always interested in the packages that come in for me haha... they are constantly asking "what is it this time??"

Awesome! Mine is scheduled to arrive Saturday. I need to order some mounts for it, I'm planning on putting it on my roof rack. I would prefer to put it on the front but it just won't work...

I'm also planning on using the relay and switch from some piaa's I took out, that'll save me 80% of the wiring, I just have to verify how much current it will handle.

You say yours is heavy? FedEx tracking says my package is 13 lbs

Well it's not "Heavy".... It's just heavier then I thought it would be
be these things are bright! I am waiting for it to get dark outside to test out, but I blinded my friend in his truck while he was pulling up in my driveway.... And that was in the daylight!

A 30'' bar would have been smarter, would fit in the front bumper very nicely, but man this 40 gives load of light!! I am building a mount this week/weekend to get enerything mounted up with a low profile... any suggestions on where to run the wiring??

Wasn't planning on having my 40'' bar up and running until late next week some time.....

Well something lit a fire under my @$$ and I started right from scratch this morning at about 11... built a light bar that comes off the very front of the roof rails forward to the very top edge of the roof and then the bar mounts in front of that.

Since the crappy cell phone pics were taken I have adjusted the angle but here are some snaps:

lookin good:thumbs:

I'd like to mount mine near the front of the roof but that won't work out on the 2.

Im a little concerned that if I mount it on the front of my roof rack as planned the roof may cut off some of the light since its mounted so far back. Depends on the beam angle so with a spot beam I think I may be ok..?

You may want the roof to cut some of the light off so that is does not reflect off the hood and actually causing your eyes to adjust and losing some of your night vision that otherwise would be gained from the light bar.

I was actually concerned about the glare off the hood too. But you have a good point, thanks:cheers:

I have always had my off road lights on my brush guard so roof mounting is a first for me

These lights are so bbright you wont have to worry if some gets cut off, there is still plenty more to shine on!!!

with my hood painted flat black I didn't notice a glare at all, but I couldn't use my lights for long as there was too much traffic haha
