Just to be clear, the photo's above are not taken from the same location correct?

Correct it's the same road but I think the lower shot was farther back as you can see there is a slight down slope in the led shot and there wasn't in the halogen

Just bought these for my wife's car and they are much better than the regular halogen bulbs. Only issue is that they only sent me one correct bulb. Hopefully they straighten out that issue before next weekend.

Do they have replacements for the fog/Driving lights as well?

I may have just missed them when I was looking at the site.

they are bright - so much that I get flashed, a lot... I think I'm going to re-aim. The issue seems that they really don't go "bright" but rather are bright all the time.... again, need to aim them and see what happens.

Yup I get flashed some because people think my brights are on. I almost never use the brights because the normal running is so bright. If I really need additional lighting....that's what the auxiliary spot lights are for haha

I don't use my fogs anymore, I'm thinking I just need to aim the lights down. I figure it's just a ticket waiting to happen - so I will fix it. The other thing is, I don't think we need the center reflector anymore.... whether I remove it or not is yet to be seen (I've too many projects already). I already turned the light 90*(only one of the two LEDs come on during low-beam operation) and that helped. It also gives this kind-of-neat effect where it looks like only 1/2 the light is on

How exactly do you adjust them? Are there little screws on the bulbs or somewhere?

you ever so gently pull them out of their housing. there are 3 peices:
1) the light itself
2) the housing to adapt to an adapter
3) the adapter to adapt to the car

you need to remove 1 from 2.... and trust me, be gentle and if it says "no" no means no. I twisted my right side light 23* and the left side 45* because it came apart all the way apart. The right side wouldn't come apart.

I probably should have taken pictures, but I didn't. sorry.

No worries. ..this is very helpful already. I probably won't mess with it because I will most likely break them

Gunner, so help me god, I've lost count now of how many times I've swiped at my ipad screen because of your signature LOL! Makes me laugh and I swear to myself I'll remember and then it sneaks up on me in another thread :)

It is sort of disturbing till you get used to it.

But then again, that is the point.

To the folks that have installed these headlights and some time has gone by, do you feel this was a good purchase? My cousin and I are both interested in ordering a set and don't want to waste the money. Thanks in advance!

Yes. I will tell you that the brights are worse less on these lights IMO. That being said for a plug and play light...fantastic.

yes because they're brighter than the OE halogens; but I agree with the other bit - the brights are worthless... however, I still believe I need to re-aim the lights and perhaps then I get brights and dims. I still think they're manufactured 90* off.... and I still need to fix the passenger side bulb because it now shines brightly at 2 o'clock position and it should be at 12 o'clock.

They're also brighter than the halogen plus driving lights; for that reason, I swapped my driving lights to a yellow halogen (and I don't have them on normally like I did before) because I do a lot of SAR stuff on dark, foggy nights and not driving into a light wall because of fog would be a welcome change...

Nice!! My friend just tagged me in your instagram picture the other day, it looks good man!

So, I was talking with the owner of OLB and he said if you guys want, we can do a group buy of 10 or more and the price would be $110 with free shipping a pair, plus lifetime warranty. The head lights are normally $140 plus shipping. If we get over 10, I will talk to him about getting a bigger discount if he can do it. Also the group buy would include any size bulb kit, so it includes the fogs too or any other car if you wanted to do. If anybody is interested post up here and if we get the number I will make a new thread for them. Thanks!
