I'm way off. Seems I'm lucky to get 200 miles on full tank. Have a alpha with 35s, roof rack, leveled, and some gear.

My mpg is a damn disgrace. Lately I have been averaging about 11.5mpg. I have been calculating via gallons used to fill up and the trip set to 0, the old fashion way. I can get about 210 a tank (about 18-19 gallons I fill up at.) Thats with a roof rack, 2 spares, a hi lift and arb awning off the side of the rack a front brushguard, a rancho lift (adds some weight with the added crossmembers) a rear ladder and about 100-150lbs of gear. I think my mpg gets better in the city. I really only drive on the freeway to and from work and its very hilly so the trans is constantly downshifting to 3k rpm and then shifts back until I lose speed. I am going to try and ease off the throttle and am for 12 especially since gas is going towards 4.50 over here in loonville.

I got an I5 base on 33 and I get more than 350 miles on full tank mostly drive on freeway...
Also, I need to check it again because lately I feel like my mpg when up. Before i used to fill up ones a week and now full tank last me about 1.5 week. My thought was, did we ran out of corn and there are less ethanol added to the gas???

I do worse on the 75 mph highways out here. 50-55 seems to be the mpg sweet spot.

I think I may have fixed a 1-2 mpg hit that I've been taking for a year. Appears that a rear caliper was releasing very slowly and dragging a lot. My last two tanks have had increases of 1.5-2 mpg since the fix. I also wore out the rear pads in 22,000 miles.

How did you test your rear caliper and what pointed you in that direction? I recently took a ~2MPG hit. Now running down around 13MPG. It is either due to me going over the hill on 100k miles or it is related to me swapping out my front diff (with the same specs) and power steering. Not sure why that would really impact it but if anyone has any ideas, let me know. Fluids and all that other crap have been maintained and recently replaced.

Testing? Two things - excessive dust on that one wheel and Anthony's team at AAMCO told me that was the problem.

Front diff - I'm no expert but if the the tolerances are too tight could you maybe be getting too much friction in there between ring and pinion? Didn't you change plugs too? If so, pull those and take a look as maybe one was bad out of the box.

I just did a trip across fl almost l highway at about 70mph and got 18mpg. I also a few times a year use that Lucas fuel additive and also just poured a bottle in the tank before the trip. It seems to help a little bit supposed to clean the injectors.

I think I might hold the record for a 3.7L.

37" tires, 5.13 gears, 6" of lift, bumpers, winch, tools = 14.1 mpg! That's with me sissy-footin it.

So, I got a full tank and set on 0. Drove around mostly on the highway but in traffic. So, I would say it is closer to city millage. I squeezed 270 miles until light came on. Stopped to fill the gas and got 20 gallons until full tank. Soo... it is 13.5pmg. I got 305s on and that's it... That doesn't sound right.

I get around 240-260 on a tank, but that with filling up before the low fuel warning shows up. Been averaging just under 14 mpg with 35's in LA traffic.

Loaded with gear and a small trailer about 140 miles. Then I had to start looking for the next gas station. I was afraid that I might run out before the next town. That was averaging about 10mpg at 70mph.

I get 320-330 per tank. 3.7l, 2010, H3T.

I commute 110 miles per day on I95 from Aberdeen to Adelphi and back, 70-75 mph down but only 35-60 coming back (traffic through Baltimore at 5pm).

Note- T's have a 25 gal tank. That's about 14.6 mpg.

Funny you should ask this question..

I just checked it out on my 06H3 with 70,000 miles burning 89 octane (PCM Tune, Cat Back and a CAI)..

I got 368 miles and the low fuel warning message just turned on.. prolly could of got another 10 miles..
