Wedscvr the invite is when the pst for the next trip goes up. Just show up if you can. No invite required.

Telemike, we frequently break into smaller groups depending on trail difficulty, preferences, etc. usually 2-3.

Hans, Derek made it out before you did. Very nice guy. Glad I got to meet and wheel with him.

We had an awards ceremony today - okay, it was really just hunting down the recipients and giving them recognition for their contribution to the April 2013 Black Sheep Week. All of the prizes were generously donated by Safari Straps, a forum sponsor. http://www.safaristraps.com/

Long Distance Award: Hirola, who traveled from Virginia to earn his Black Sheep stripes. It was a pleasure finally meeting you and wheeling with you in Moab. Derrick received a bag of 20 tie downs that will help secure his cargo for the trip home

Frumaker received the Black Sheep Team Player award for his frequent trail spotting and lending a hand on every repair he could. Frumaker really made it easy on the trail leaders by getting out and spotting the vehicles, which is especially helpful with such large groups. He also dove in and helped on many repairs, whether on the trail or at the Outpost. Frumaker received a Safari Straps Small Cargo Net, which looks to be ideal for securing cargo on an H3 roof rack

The Black Sheep Great Chef Award goes to Bebe. Bebe has kept us very well fed this week with tacos, chicken adobo and ugly beans. Her creations keep the Black Sheep coming back for seconds and thirds with each of her great recipes. Bebe received a Safari Straps Medium Utility Net which has already been implemented to keep Speedy from causing too much trouble.

The Black Sheep Hospitality Award of course goes to Neo and Nav for hosting these Moab events, the generous use of the house and yard for campers and guests. We appreciate the nightly fires, the use of the kitchen for Bebe's fantastic food, and for the leadership on the trails. Neo received a Safari Straps Medium Cargo Net.

Probably a poorly cast wheel, though it didn't help that he's running 14.5" tires on them. It split all the way around the circumference. Sounded like a cannon going off when it broke. This photo shows it a bit better

Hey Mike you just need to come join us! I showed up not knowing what those lock buttons really do... Lol! Timgco, Neo, ALrock and others really taught me how to drive off road... I'm still very much learning, but I made it up Hells Gate last trip. It's a great group to meet up with, hope you can make it!
