Awesome pics everyone! I swear we will make it down there! If only gas would go down!

Chasten, that was awesome going down High Dive! I think that is my favorite of all! I'm sure the similarity of our trucks has nothing to do with it, either!

The weight of that custom roof rack of yours might have put the tipping point a little too far...

On the first Sunday of Blacksheep week a group of us headed up the Polar Mesa but only got about a third of the way when we had a little "issue" and had to go back out the way we came. On my way out of town on Friday morning I was driving by the entrance and knew I would regret it if I did not take the chance to finish that trail. The trail itself was not that difficult, basically a rough dirt road up a mountain. It was raining to the biggest issues I had was mud and some washed out areas of the road.

Here are some pics of mostly the vistas as I drive the loop. You top out at about 9,000 ft. It had some really neat Moab views and with storm clouds coming through I snapped some great images.

John, how were the 23 creek crossings after the rain? We only had shallow water to pass through, I hope they were a little more interesting after the rain.

Thanks for taking the pics of Polar Mesa trail, since we weren't able to get it done on our own. Guess we'll have to live vicariously through your pics on this one, or until April.

Even with the rain that morning they were not bad at all. Once I was up high and it was activly raining and sleeting I had some issues with mud and almost sliding off the road and a couple of spots had wash out spots across the road but I ran the whole thing at 50 psi and never really felt the need to get out and air down.

Great photos everyone! Looks like an absolute blast! When in the April run? Might actually be able to swing that....although I am getting hitched in May. .......At least that's the plan.

Out of curiosity, who is the gent with the black dog in the pics above? He looks very similar to someone I know.
