New addition to the garage

I finally upgraded my daily driver, I got a 2014 Lexus IS 250 F Sport. It's actually the first import I have ever owned but man this thing is awesome. What makes this model great is the F Sport package, it gives you an upgraded front fascia, all digital gauges, LED headlights, upgraded suspension and wheels, red and black interior ( not for everyone but I love it ) among other things...here are some crappy cell phone pics that really don't do it justice. It feels like I'm slipping into an exotic supercar every time I get in :thumbs:

I think the new "controversial" styling is a hit, at least in that it's not the bland styling the IS cars had before. Congrats on the new ride!

I haven't heard of the controversy of the styling but it works for me. I never really paid much attention to Lexus until this model came out. Sitting in the driver seat feels like your in a 100% sports car and not a sport sedan, the seats cradle you like nothing I have felt before. The technology this car has is ridiculous, the navigation/infotainment manual is thicker than the cars manual. All in all I'm very impressed and I looked at everything around it's price.

the gauges are one of the things that sold me on this car. The central bezel slides to the right to display other screens, at night it feels like I'm in a spaceship :thumbs: Here are a few screen shots

Yha, Lexus does refer to them as "LFA inspired gauges." They actually had 2 of the 500 LFA's built at Lexus Escondido where I got mine, those things are just plain awesome, and their only $375,000 :whaa:

Haha! The pics make it look more pointy than it really is, I love the way the front end looks, if you dont get the F sport package it looks a little different.

After having it for a few weeks I have to say I'm really impressed. I've had a chance to play with it in sport mode and I was shocked. It has Eco, normal, and sport mode. In sport mode the steering stiffens, the brakes get more responsive, the throttle response changes, shift points are changed, it's like a totally different car. Lexus did a great job with this one.
