Thanks Acer4LO. Cardano has made me a lot of money this year.:)
Bracket is 1/4” wall 2” square tubing bolted to the bumper before installing the bumper and then tacked in place with 1/4” gussets, unbolted and removed bumper for full weld. Should be stronger than the passenger side.
I love how cleanly Thorparts stuff installs. So well engineered.

Thank you so much! You definitely saved me a lot of time trying to figure this out myself. My original idea was try to see if I could find the passenger side of the bracket with the d ring mount (15794061) and cut it up to fit it on the driver side, but this should be far easier! Thanks! I'm glad you did well in Cardano. I am invested in it as well!

Looks great.

I might mention something for DIY welders: ALWAYS disconnect the battery cables before welding on your rig. It is possible to backfeed your vehicle’s electrical system with your welder. On occasion I have forgotten to do this, and I’ve had doors lock, dome lights come on, and horns honk. Can’t be good for your puters.

Another Thorparts rear bumper post with a before and after. Was definitely a struggle to get it on with the frame being slightly off, but well worth it! Used an 18 inch chain for the other rear D ring as seen on some other rigs here. Now to find some time to get the front bumper on... :)

Dynamatting Rear of Alpha T Cab.

Dynamatted the rear of the Alpha T. There's nothing between the rear seats and the exterior besides an 1/8th inch plastic trim piece and the actual stamped body sheet metal.

So far, it's very nice having it back there.

I can hear less road noise and less exhaust! Exhaust doesn't really matter so much to me because it's pretty rowdy already but I can tell the difference.

Looks clean! I have been meaning to do this for YEARS and just never get around to it. Now that I have some little ones back there I think I will finally have to just get her done!

Thank you!!

And…. do it!!! I bought just the door kit and had PLENTY left over for other stuff if I wanted!

Easy to do too. Only hard part is putting the plastic trim back on, stupid thing has plastic push pins AND slider clips for the top for some reason lol.

Last bit of protection added to the truck. In total: Thor front and rear bumpers, factory RPP, KMW skids, and Tomp low profile spring hanger mounts.

I cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body in an attempt to possibly get a smoother idle. Ordered 2 UCA's and lower ball joints.

I spent Christmas eve day, changing both upper control arms and lower ball joints to include bump stops= front and rear. I think this was all OE. I know the lower ball joints were. I suspect everything else was. Now I just need a proper alignment.

Replaced front driver side axle seal. I noticed it was leaking after I did all the front end work. One more thing completed.

Haha thanks. I agree. It came with them, 5 new wheels and 5 new tires. All more pricey than I’d pay haha and they aren’t too ghetto/flashy

Standard ones you find when you search on eBay. I need to adjust or bend the driver side though. It rests on the rear hatch and I have to push it out when opening the gate so I don’t chip paint. Pisses me off haha
