I'm not sure why you're stuck on this. As I said, "most" H3's were indeed auto, and your post never clarified that your wife's H3 was a manual. I just was unsure whether you were talking about an actual downshift or a "shift" from a locked torque converter to unlocked, and was looking for...
As said, shocks don't support the weight, the springs/torsions support the weight. Shocks only dampen the movement.
BTW, the Fox 2.0 shocks are NOT soft.
The H3 has a 100mm hub center, so the 100.5mm bore should fit. However, you don't mention the back spacing; you need to go with a max of 5.5" backspacing. Not a fan of 20" wheels for off-road, so I have no recommendations for tire size.
The point would be that the KM is gonna be louder, and wear faster, than the KO. Unless you spend very little time on pavement, the KM is a waste of money, IMO.
You can also check the tire size listed on the sticker on the inside of the (driver) door frame; Adventure will have 285 tires, non-adventure will show 265.
I use Torque Pro; it does give trans temp. but you have to download the GM PIDs. There are 3 GM Transmission Temp PID's, only 1 works on my Hummer. None of them work on my GM 8.1L V8 in my motorhome. As for the OBD adapter, mine is just a cheap one (about $15) off of eBay, but it did take 2...

Maybe what’s happening is that our beloved...
It's considered cold since the intake air comes from outside of the engine bay (just like stock). As for waterproof/snorkel, the stock intake location is (according to GM) good for 24" of water. Regardless, I don't see anything on a snorkel intake that would conflict with your Volant system, so...
