Keep in mind that only the OEM racks use the sp1 sp2 sp3 sp4 or sp5 keys. Mine are aftermarket (look exactly like OEM) and use a completely different key.
Sorry, but you're talking about Chevy trucks, not Hummer H3s. Most manufacturers do not make CA compliant Cats for the H3 Alpha. Yes, I understand, there are plenty of 5.3s that ARE available. The problem is that CARB requires Cat's to be tested/certified for each and every specific...
Had the driver side cat start throwing codes on mine; used the spark plug non-fouler. That was at least 4-5 years ago; haven't had the code return and passes smog easily.
Not sure how anal they are in AZ, but in CA most smog technicians will look closely at the cats; if they look like they...
Wow! I don't think I've ever seen brakes in that bad of condition. Amazing that it even moved (or stopped). Glad I live in sunny SoCal (although we've got blizzard conditions currently).

I'm running the Fox 2.0 on my Alpha (torsions at 23.5, BFG 305s). They are a bit stiff on the road, but work nice off-road. Curious to see how the 2.5 DSCs work for you.
SoCal is full of desert terrain that is quite similar to Baja. Perhaps CT trucks don't know anything other than pavement and mud? Calling BFG All-Terrains "street tires" is more than a stretch.
