yep stock rims, they are under 400 a tire plus 100 bucks to ship 4 tires from New Jersey to California, not sure if he wants me to put out a price because its constantly changing and who knows if people will price match him...PM me or text me for an exact price. Everywhere else wants between 400-435 a tire. then add CA sales tax and the CA tire tax and the tax because you were breathing when you walked into the store and every other tax known to man. It all adds up. For a tire that has an out the door price shipped to the house I dont think it can be beat unless I go with new rims in a 15 or 17 then that will make the price worse.

You gotta be a member on pirate to get the discount. Look for the guys who have tire deals and PM them.

I will get them mounted and balanced then never see another tire shop again. I will do my own rotations in the driveway...its my own personal opinion that rotations will help tread life more then them being perfectly balanced and I can probably check the balance every once in a while at work. They would probably let me rebalance them on my break or lunch.

I had the trxus MTs for 2.5 years and they were really good for the money. I would not worry about the sidewalks, they are solid. Here is what's left of one, it has been decommissioned to swing duty.

I was thinking I would go with them for a long time, then a ran into a guy who ran them and said he could never get them to balance and always had a shake in the steering wheel, that's why I ruled them out.

I might just have to wait to hear how your experiences are with them!

Interesting. I've heard of good road manners. I'll keep you posted.

Unfortunately with tires it usually seems to be subjective. Some love the mtr on road some hate them. That goes for any tire. I can spend hours online reading reviews and be less sure of what I want afterwords

I'm trying the steel bb's in my 38" super swampers to try to get them balanced. Have you thought about doing that instead of traditional weights?

I used airsoft bbs to balance my wheels. I still need to add a few more ounces but they worked well. I don't have any TPMS sensors in the wheels either, so I can't break what isn't there.

I had no issues with balance when I had my 37s. They were quite on road and perform decent off-road. I would have got them again if I didn't want something more aggressive. The Goodyear Mtrs I have now are way better off-road, but louder on road, so it's always a trade off. Good news is I am going on three years with these goodyears and over 65,000 miles give or take.

thanks man!

Also, the bedliner on my rims isnt from it not sticking...its from the rocks that smash it. Its been like that for a few years. it hold up pretty well.

I need to shoot another coat on them.

They look killer mate, might have to drive up there to see them in person and perhaps in action at the hill you took us.

Camber sleeves, undecided. I was waiting to do 37s so now that they are here I am gonna have to look at it in the morning to see.

Surprisingly ok, I was cruising at 80mph(running late for work) with 3 37s on the roof and one in the trunk and it was still more stable then when I had JK springs up front with no weight up top. I felt completely safe cruising at 80. On the way home I had the 4 duratracs on the roof and same. I was cruising 70ish with no issue.

Top heavy at all? [emoji15]

Yea lol they are off now. Was gonna get rid of em but my brothers friend wants 35s bad. I told him they are horrible, they are chunking, have plugs in the sidewall, one has bad alignment wear. 2 are ok though, he said he still wanted them. Seeing his isnt a daily driver I guess its ok for temporary use which is his plan. Still I said use at your own risk.

With squeaky down for the fuel issue fiasco I also figured it was time to time to open up the diff, replace the stock cover that has sealant covering the hole and find out why my locker works 50% of the time

Fully rebuilt and tested it on the stands as good as new and have a new rock proof cover. My jeep buddies were shocked the stock cover lasted me this long but a nice hole in it screamed for an upgrade.

Gonna rip into the front end as well and finish my fuel issue.

Then A/C lines, rewiring my lights and start some summer wheeling before the 'con

Its been a busy few days working on squeaky. With the rubicon less then a month away and im going to NY for almost 2 weeks on friday it doesnt leave me with much time to get stuff done. This project was WIRING!! Yay...how fun. For the past 3 maybe 4 years I usually wire my stuff up 10 minutes before leaving for the trail with the intent to install it the right way later. Well 3-4 years go by and **** got out of control. Calfire is probably going to call me and thank me for cleaning up my rats nest before I burnt down half the state.

Anyways, I had wires galore. I have 2 switches for rock lights, a switch for the big round red LEDs a switch for my e fan, a switch for my D2s a switch for my duallys (duallys are unmounted right now) 2 switches for my piaas which also have the rear lights wired into them and my rear locker switch. With 9 switches and none of them permanently mounted disaster was waiting to happen.

The location was tough for me to decide ideally I wanted the headliner but my concern was routing all the wires up there and if I didnt like it headliners are expensive and supposedly tough to get, I remember kyle had issues getting a headliner when his airbags went off and the body shop said they dont make them anymore. The knee bolster would be fine but I didnt like that because I have long legs and didnt want to accidentally hit them. I liked the spot behind the shifter but I was concerned with others touching buttons and something hitting them. Lastly, I wanted it easily and cheaply reversible. That is when I decided on the speedometer cluster cover. I texted Zach it is under 20 bucks to replace so its cheap and easily reversible. Its above my knees and away from others touching it.

First I had to mount it and I used the old t case factory skid to cut out a piece and bolt it to. Then I had to clean up the engine bay. I used a blueseas fuse block system that holds 12 fuses. I also added relays to everything. I went down to a stereo shop and got 2 gauge wire, I was going to get red and black but he gave me a few feet of red for free and 0 or 2 gauge can add up quick in price so I will live with having a red 2 gauge ground wire. In the end I cut out a ton of wire!

Here are some pics.

the angle makes the switches look uneven

I also have my fan switch mounted alone and up higher only thing not permanently mounted is the rear locker switch but it is tucked away. I dont know how much longer I will have an eaton or 10 bolt but I did put it in a location where I wont move.

Now its much safer and much cleaner! I used a combo of soldering and connectors to get the job done. Fused and relayed wiring should be much better!

I also got some time to wheel at drinkwater. It was VERY hot but the H3 cools SOOO much better with the fan shroud I ran a solid 10-12 degrees cooler. Also the lower rad hose stays put now so I cant slice it. I still want to rebuild my steering box but I found a guy who has a nissan xterra box for sale so I will probably put that one in and rebuild this one on my own time later. The rebuild kits are 20 bucks but a reman is over 200 so for that price I will rebuild it myself.

Other then that I have been driving a ton, just passed over 10k miles on the SAS and 2k miles on the engine swap.

Heres a poser shot from wheeling
