OK, I must ask. Going to a 35" from a 33" that effects the gears. Obviously a tune is going to adjust the speedo, but what does the larger tire do to the general driving, acceleration etc...? How about the drivability of a 31" (265) to a 35" (315)? That changes the gear ratio from 4.10 to 4.5????

From 265 to 305s I felt a noticeable difference in acceleration but not bad, but I don't know about the 315s.

Tis a sight for sore eyes it tis.. I love my Duratracs, have them on both the Hummer and Trac.. Never have let me down yet.. I have over 33,000+ on the ones on the Trac and they still have more than 75% or so of their tread left... Enjoy and let us know how they treat you...

how much do u rotate them?

Im around 30k miles rotated and balanced 2 times 25% left. That's the importance of rotations and balance....lesson learned for my next set haha

You really should rotate every 3-5000 miles. A heavy truck with more aggressive tires should be closer to the 3000. You wont regret it!

Excellent Point Scarsman... I have rotated the ones on the sport trac every 3,000 - 4000.. and they have like I said in previous post 33,000+ and still have 75% left... Even the guys at the tire place are surprised how good they are holding up.. I just had the ones put on the Hummer rotated with only 3,000 on them.. Since the Hummer is heavier, I am going to have them rotated every 3,000 - 3,500. Once again good point Scarsman.

I agree with Scarsman, I rotate mine every 3,000 - 3,500 miles and they are wearing very evenly and have a lot of tread left.

You guys doing a 4 tire rotation or a 5 tire rotation? From what I understand, the newer ones don't come with a sensor in the spare so you'd need to get one for a 5 tire rotation and keep tire pressure monitoring.

I've ben doing a 4 tire rotation exactly because of the reason you noted - no tpms in the spare. You would want to pick up another sensor if are going to do a 5 tire rotation on the newer rigs wothout the sensor in the spare.

Maybe im mistaken, but i have 2 spares, and i think they have tpms in them, maybe thats just the second spare rim that i bought. But when i had a flat and put the spare on, the tpms didnt go off.

Did you do the tpms re-learn? Or maybe the battery in the sensor is dead or are you sure that that spare has a sensor?

Honestly, i know the second spare does, but i got the flat on the trail so i aired down as soon as i put it back on, and i don't remember if the sensor light was on after airing up because i got it fixed like the next day. Your prob right though, because i think the light was in when i drove to the tire shop.

I'm a bit torn on this. I plan to get new tires in the spring and have yet to decide whether or not to buy another tpms for 5 wheel rotation. I did the 5-tire rotation on my jeeps (until I put the spare on the roof anyway), but I think I may just go 4 wheel on my T. Lower cost (not much), less hassle not pulling the spare from underneath, cheaper next time when I only have to buy 4 tires.. Compared to longer tread life when rotating 5 tires. I guess I'm just wondering about general consensus and any pros/cons I may be missing.

Hopefully I didn't completely steer this thread off track - it was already heading that way a bit.

Your right and especially because I didn't take advantage of the free rotation and balance for every 3k miles.
