Couple more hours then its loading time. Good news and bad news; Good news is we'll be on the road by 7am tomorrow, Bad news we won't have our high clearance shock plates installed. But we'll be in Moab with the H4O BSHS family and that's all that matters!

I am about half way. 600 miles into the drive. The 5 cylinder does good in the flats but hates the hills. The mountains are going to be tough. Going to try to make it as far as the kids can take the ride. With any luck will be there by noon tomorrow.

thanks for the updates

T-Bone picked a prime camp spot down in the creek by the drilling rig...

Two things come to mind.
1, Make sure t-bone knows those are not black and white kitties that roam the low area by the creek.

2. A contest to see who can hit the tent from the fire pit.

got a GPS, coordinates for the outpost are N38 33.364 W109 31.589

If not, head south on 191 (main street) out of town. After you pass the Maverick on the left about another 1/2-3/4 mile turn left onto sage drive (believe there is a sign on the right for Holyoak street). go past the stop sign, then the first street is San Juan, turn right, go three streets to Lasal, turn left and at end of street on left is Outpost. Probably be a ton of people and hummers/jeeps/raptors around.

day one done. However, it looks like I have picked up a pretty bad front diff pinion seal leak. Anyone with the knowledge/tools/interest in helping me fix it this week? I feel like it would be a pain in the ass to fix on our own but,I'm open to ideas. Or, does anyone have pull in moab to get a good deal on a shop fixing it?

Have fun everyone. Sounds like a great group and some great trails planned. Like most of us on the forum that are not currently on the road... "I wish I was out there"

Just stopped in Denver for the night. Got 400 miles to go in the morning. If I get out of here shortly after 6 I won't make it in till about 2 or 3.

Thought I had a major issue awhile ago. Talked with Dave and he talked to Mike at Tustin Hummer. After a bath in diesel, good to go.
