Does your low pressure light come up when the engine is cold or after it warmed up?
My oil light used to come once the ambient temps were over 90* or when its over 80* and I get the a/c on (oil temps will get higher). Once engine was hot, the oil light would come up at every stop and wouldnt go until im revved up.
I fought it over 2 summers, it wasnt a big deal in the first summer but in the second one it was horrible.
Long story short, I had the engine pulled out and opened, turned out to be a stuck oil return valve inside the engine that ONLY required cleaning (we initially pulled it to replace the oil pump).
This valve basically lets oil bypass something when its cold, once its hot it should close and the oil goes somewhere else.
Now the long story, Before fixing it finally, I had the oil pressure sender replaced twice. Had the oil replaced twice, had an oil flush done 3 times without any improvements. We dont have seafoam here, and since everyone said oil pump, I didnt bother trying to import it here. Seeing it turned out the whole issue was sludge buildup inside that specific valve, seafoam may have helped clean it up without the need to have the whole engine pulled out
Only when she's hot and driven for over an hour, My oil levels are fine and my operating temp is fine too. but only after my dash says Oil and the chime start. on and off
