Heres an update, I drove squeaky for the first time and it was awesome!
My buddy drove the H3 without me, the first time, I had to go and he drove it but its ok...lol He said he was having issues with the trans shifting and the speedometer was intermittent, It would work then go to zero then work. then go to zero. Weird...that was yesterday and this morning.
I had a CEL but without my OBDII wires hooked up I couldnt read the codes.
Fast forward I disconnect the battery, he is rerouting fuel lines and I am hooking up the OBDII wires. We finish that hook back the battery and drive. PERFECT! No speedo issues trans is shifting quick and firm, This thing was scooting right along. I drove about 12 miles and no CEL light, nothing eventful. I turn off the hummer in the parking lot and turn it back on the CEL light is back on. Initally it runs a B222A code which is like a Mystery code on my scangauge and it doesnt say **** for that code. Then I check it again and it comes up P0036 and P0452. P0036 is a o2 sensor code which makes sense I have my O2 sensors in but not hooked up I need an extension on the rears. The P0452 I need to track down its emissions, may have a leaky evap line or something.
Either way I drive back to his place with no issues.
I emailed Jamie and he said the VSS may have been filled with metal particles seeing I had drained it and let it sit for 2 months, maybe I had it upside down (doubt it who knows though) maybe running the new fluid in a few miles cleaned it out, tomorrow I will clean the VSS for good measure.
Other then that it kicks ass so far! Tomorrow I will log some more miles on it.
As for the scangauge he said some basic scanners like a scangauge throw that random code B222A for a CEL code. Mine did initally but then didnt. If it continues I may sell the scangauge for newer version or a different scanner.
So far the bugs are nothing major but when I get some more miles on it time will tell.
