Photoshop some hair from head to toe on the spotter and it would make great Bigfoot helps Hummer driver picture . That is a great picture , the weather and lighting Gods were smiling down on you . Keep the really cool pictures coming .

Changed my front brake pads. Normally it's not a big deal but this turned into an ordeal. Dynatrac couldn't tell me what brakes my axles had!?!?!? :( So I took my pads to O'Rilleys to see if they could help me figure it out. First attendant immediately asked my year and model of vehicle and I told her that wouldn't work due to the custom axle. She went into panic mode. Insisted she couldn't find out with a reference. I told her to do it the old school way of looking at the diagrams charts till she found a match. She looked at me like I was on drugs. Eventually she went to the back and started looking through every box of brakes one by one!!!! I told her to stop and to please get me one of the mechanics from the shop. He immediately looked at them and started trying to match it with the pics like I told her to do. In 5 mins he had figured out that it had to be from an F150 or a Dodge Ram. He gave me both since one was slightly thicker. Went home. Tried the thicker ones and they didn't fit. Turns out I have 2002-2008 F150 brake pads. I took 4 hours and only have one wheel done. I'll do the rest after lunch which should go pretty fast. :)

Finally installed my MOLLE fold down panel.

I started by first marking and drilling the holes in the plastic molding. Then with a caliper measured the distance of each hole to the sheet metal of the tailgate. My plan is to tie into the metal structure of the tailgate since it will hold much more weight then just attaching to plastic molding.

I then made some threaded extensions to match the distance from the plastic molding to the sheet metal. Each corner was different since the sheet metal is not flat.

I reinstalled the plastic molding and installed the panel. Everything lined up perfectly. The time taken up measuring and marking everything was worthwhile.

Attached some MOLLE pouches for storage of recovery gear and first aid kit.

Tying into the sheet metal of the tailgate really makes the shelf extremely sturdy. It's worth the extra work and effort.

Installed a Griffin triple core radiator. Got it without the transmission cooler. Instead I installed an external transmission cooler in front. This solves many issues in one go. The factory radiator does a very poor job of cooling both the engine as well as the transmission. On top of that the factory radiator is known to crack and mix the fluids which destroys the transmission.

After everything you went through with ORE in Cali, if you where to start from scratch on such a build again who would you go to first to get everything done right the first time out? Is there such a shop in the US up to such a task? Did Dynatrac ever offer these axles for H3 builds after yours where done?

ORE did a good job. The problem with them is that when I was away, they didn't work on the truck. When I would return, instead of going out and testing the truck, I would spend it finishing it off. It was never finished by the time I left Cali so I never got to test it with him and give him the chance to adjust or correct any issues. I had to do it on my own with local fabricators. The quality of their craftsmanship is very good, but their work ethic was lacking or they didn't care about the project as much as they said they did.

I haven't talked to Dynatrac in a while but I'm positive that if you want a set of axles like mine, they'd do them no problem. That's what they specialize in.

Here in North Carolina there's an amazing fabricator called Carolina Truggies that could have pulled it off. As a matter of fact, I plan to take the truck to them to have them revalve the shocks and add some better protection.

Don't you have the magnaflow cat back exhaust system? If so, I would really appreciate it if you could make a video showing the start up sound and maybe rev it a little. It is hard to find a good video of that. Thanks.[emoji482]

Due to the custom suspension, I have a custom exhaust. It has a Magnaflow muffler but it's not the same as the full cat back exhaust made for the H3.
