Looks sick Derian :thumbs: so were you able to get the bolts for the sliders squared away? I'm still having a devil of a time with mine... It's on fairly solid and won't come off but a bunch of the bolts aren't all the way in... Just wondering if you'd found a way to really tighten em' down...

If you read the other thread people are using tap and dies to re thread the corroded holes, but mine are stuck in there as well.

What's the plan for the rack and LED bars setup?
I think those bars would look great stacked in the roof rack!

I would, but the rack is only 49" wide and those are 52" bars. I'm planning on throwing some of these up there some time but for now i'm just going to leave it how it is.

Made a pretty noticeable difference, about an 1/8th lower than normal from what i've seen so far.

Not sure what the question is, but driving is the same about 1/8th less. Used to hit 3/4 only hits 5/8-11/16th's now.

With the factory plastic cover cut out I don't see a lot of water intrusion when driving. It will deflect quite a bit. Also the cut outs are more toward the front so it shouldn't be so bad. Oh, and I live in California. Lol. What's rain???

Not sure if you saw my other post, but when it poured for a couple of hours (couldn't see 5 feet infront of you) there was no water in the engine bay. And for water going over the hood, it never should, but if it does its just going to land on the plastic cover anyways.

Lol yea me too, we pray for rain! I was worried about washing and stuff but what you said makes sense. How easy is it to cut the plastic cover, and what are you going to use to cut it?

Use an angle grind with a cutting disk, it's really easy it'll go with the premade slits.

Spring over! Everything went smooth, took from 9am to 5pm so 8 hours. Doesn't look like the extended brake lines are needed yet. Re used the rancho shocks for the time being. And wow, it flexes like crazy.

29" at the rear so netted 2.5" lift.

been a long time since updating this, but I have some huge mods planned for the interior. Going to try my hand at upholstery and vinyl wrapping.

Originally started because I needed to get rid of the flex/rattling from my sound system. Now why not turn the interior to that of a luxury vehicle?

Plan is:
1. Remove headliner (done)
2. Epoxy 1/2" birch between the roof braces and the indentions.

3. use Knuconcepts Kolossus everywhere else, followed by CCF. (i'm not sure if I can get MLV to stick to the roof)
4. spray expanding foam in cracks and crevices as needed to get rid of rattles and strengthen the roof.
5. Upholster the headliner with Black Carbon Fiber
6. Vinyl wrap miscellaneous pieces/trim with red gloss vinyl and more black carbon fiber
7. Put the headliner back on
8. Pull the Carpet and Knuconcepts Kolossus everywhere else
followed by mlv then ccf
9. Make custom A-pillars out of fiber glass that can hold a 6.5" speaker and vinyl wrap them.
10. Possibly custom kick panels if needed.
11. Put the rest of the interior back in

I'm hoping to get a much more quiet ride out of this, and i'm hoping to increase the SPL and quality of my sound system.

Other things to do before i'm back to classes:
1. fix rear pinion angle
2. Steel rear bumper

got the birch in, vinyl wrapped some trim, attempted the headliner turned out well at first, then completely botched it... new plan was completely strip it, resin it, then raptor line it. spent a good 3 hours cleaning all of the old foam off of it. Wasted plenty of money on upholstery adhevise and contact cement... just couldn't get the fabric to hold in corners and dips.
