Bmi doesn't matter, all that matters is bodyfat percentage, and I only do ass to grass squats so it really works my core, lumbar, glutes, hams, quads. It hits it all.
A regular split is: push, pull, legs (chest and tris, back and bi's, legs)
I'm on a 5 day split: chest, back, legs, shoulders and traps, arms. Which has been working wonders for me.
Yea bmi matters in DOD I have to tape every time I weight in too 6'1 210lbs at 13% and btw no trying to step on toes here but training abs/obliques is important. Maybe not as important as other groups but you still need to do them and if you get set in a routine and stay with it you will plateau at some point
Chest/tri, back/bi, shoulder/trap, leg, rest and repeat

But on arms day you feel like such a badass with the pump man. My arms go from 17" to 18.5" with a pump:
anyone here ever had any success with muscle confusion? I've always thought that was bull crap. I did P90X and I got results, but I'm pretty sure it's because it was a dang hard workout. I had a long "discussion" with my brother about it and he didn't believe me. I figure, the muscle fiber doesn't care if you're doing hammer curls or preacher curls, as long as it gets worked out and you get the entire muscle.
Just as an aside, it really bugs me when girls say they do 15 or 20 reps. Man, you're just wasting your time if you're lifting that light. lift heavy or go home. trying to turn weight lifting into cardio is dumb. if you're only doing one muscle, then that's hardly a workout at all. cardio should be all of your body. Which reminds me - if your gym has a punching bag, try that. holy crap. way harder than running.
So my buddy was talking about this article he read about one having to eat according to their blood type. Idk how much of true all that is but the short version of it came down to..."if you seen eating according to your blood type, it would be like running the wrong oil or gas grade in your vehicle" the vehicle motor won't work as efficient and give you a hard time or not work at all that's why people are always tired and get fat...since they aren putting the right fuel in their body...idk has anybody here about that before...I just add he's pretty freaking freaking built for his age 40+ years he is 6'2 250 pounds or muscle.
