What year is your H3, and do you know what year H3 that engine came out of? Some of the others, like 06 H3 and Outfitter Design, know these engines better but I believe there are some differences between years. Could be different sets of sensors, for example.

Yes, you don't want to tow anything significant with the I5, but at least in FL you don't have to deal with hills. (Yes, I know some are going to say they've pulled trailers for 1000s of miles, I get it, but the I5 is already a bit overworked in anything but a stock H3)

Agree with 3Hummers regarding H2 vs. H3. If it fits where you're going to take it, the H2 is a nicer ride. MPG may be a consideration as well.

I'd go through the suspension and steering to check the condition of the various bushing, joints, etc. Do you have service records with it? 50% chance, IMO, that many of the regular service items like belts, bushings, motor mounts, etc. were replaced in that time.
