Nope not at all, they will pack up with a bit of snow/ice or mud depending on the season (they will also protect my paint a bit better) but it won't interfere with using a highlift at all

It will go back on this fall, I think it helps my gas mileage too even though it adds 200 lbs when on...

Got so work done to be bed rack,
All tacked in place just waiting for a MIG to borrow for final welding up of all joints, then paint and then it's ready for the RTT and some exploration!!!

Here are some pics of the rack and tent mounted up, all bolts in place and all that is left is painting it with primer tomorrow when the weather warms up enough to paint!

Made some much needed improvements to the lighting situation inside the RTT. I added two 16" white LED of either end on independent switches. I didn't want wires tied to the support bars so I picked up some split loop that was just the right size to wrap around the support bars and hide the wire, I am happy with how it turned out, don't really know how I could have done it any other way to make it any cleaner of an install....

Under the foam mattress I added some more foam to soften the bed up some for the GF

I don't know yet lol, I think I am going to run a few strips of tape on the edges if it doesn't fold up nice.... It started raining so I left the tent open rather then close it up in the rain
