We left Moab this Saturday morn at 9:30 fueled, washed and readjusted the toe again. Truck runs straight and true. Don't need no stinking alignment. Went south to Mesa Verde National Park and spent 5 hours there. Jeri drove US 160 from Durango to I-25 over Wolfcreek Pass. We are sitting in a Marriott now in Pueblo CO. Got 2 days to get home from here.
Had a super time in Moab even with the fun on Hells Gate. Thanks again Dwaine for all the help. Thanks Neo and Nav for putting up with us all.

I spent most of yesterday at the arches. We went down the trails there. I'm getting ready to load up and leave today. Thanks to all that help pit this together.

We got in around 10:45 PM. Not a lick of snow this time. Missed most of the rain storms. Feels good to be home, but miss "all Y'all" :) Can't wait for October.

Unpacked...I must say flagstaff to home was a TERRIBLE drive. I did have tons of laughs and a good time driving home with my parents but all loaded up I know my rig was over 6000lbs, with a 50mph headwind and lots of hills made the 3.5L unhappy and thats what made the drive a pain in the ass. I gave the little motor hell though, just to hold 65-70 I had it in 3rd at like 3500 rpm.

I had a blast though and will be back for sure! It was great to see everyone I met last year and meet some new people. It was very cool to watch dwaine and Mykyl with the scorpion, meet the texans, hirola, jakesz28 and finally meet bebe and speedy! I wanna go back now...

And thanks again to neo and nav for the hospitality!

Alrighty folks, I finally made it home to VA safely. The check engine light only came on 4 times over the 2100 mile trip. Thank you all for making this trip an amazing one - especially the hosts and spotters. Also, great to finally put some faces to these names. I look forward to all of the pictures!

I stopped by Denver and had dinner with my wife's cousin. Had not seen her for years and could not pass up a nice dinner. We drove about 500the miles today and have around 800 more to go. Can't wait till I go back again. I got a couple obstacles on hells revenge that I passed on. Hells gate and escalator are on the to do list.

Well we made it home today at about 3pm. All in one piece, no problems to speak off. I kept watching for that red Jeep GC from the Moab 4x4 shop to be following me home but no such luck, yet... It was good to see our fury kids again. We both had a wonderful time again and look forward to October. Time to start the mods again. The 3 is going on a diet like me. Thanks again to all who participated and helped out.

What code(s) did your 3 set on your return trip? Mine kept setting p0171 lean bank 1 and p0174 lean bank 2 when offroading slow but nothing on the trip home.

p0171 while I was in Moab - it came on once. And P0014 a few times going home - Camshaft 'B' out of adjustment (or something like that). I swapped out the exhaust camshaft sensor along the way and it made it another 1100 miles before the light came on again. I just swapped out the intake camsensor today. The worrisome thing is that I just recently replaced those sensors maybe 15000 miles ago, so I'm hoping that the sensor just went bad and it is not a bigger issue.

Just got home. Man I'm beat. No issues to speak of. It was idling rough before I lest Iowa and the whole time on the trails. I added some fuel injector cleaner in Moab and it was idling better. Maybe its fixed. Just opened some wine then its time for bed.

Was great to wheel with you guys the 2 days I was there! Reloader: it was inspiring to see your recovery on Hell's without breaking a sweat. It makes me more confident when things break on my truck. Hope to see you all again soon!

Glad to see it went well.

Looks like another great trip.

I was thinking about the Black Sheep week while I was on my own family trip during this week. It was Spring Break for the teenagers.

I miss wheeling the 2 and plan to return soon.

I enjoyed reading the thread and living vicariously through it. Good to see some friends here I haven't seen in awhile.

Here is a pic from my "Spring Break" trip.

Looks kinda like where I plan on going late summer. Oldest daughter moved to Hawaii.
