Yea checked at the terminal. Going to swap out the battery first. I just need to plug in 2 wires into the back of the OBD2 port to get that fully functioning again. Port 6 and 14. I did email jamie to confirm; do I count from left to right BEHIND the obd2 port or in front of? That will make a difference. Lol I assume it in front of but we will see. This should keep my scan gauge fully functioning.
He also said in the email if the battery light doesn't go away I can swap around a few wires, he asked about reduced power which I don't have!
I also texted reloader yesterday about a small coolant vent hose to check on his alpha because I had no where to put it. Kind of a crappy pic
He said there is a T on the heater hoses and it connect to that. In his pictures the heater hose has a metal portion. So I needed H3 alpha heater hoses, or I found a T that will work on my rubber hoses. Will use that and I also got new plastic clips that will better secure the heater hoses rather then clamping them on. I will get part #s of the T and plastic clips for anyone in the future.
I also want to reroute my fuel lines a bit better. I got to study reloaders alpha when I was in moab and I am amazed how GM was so close to routing exhaust and fuel lines together and then they routed the exhaust right under the tail housing of the t case. They did reroute the fuel lines better then an I5 for the exhaust but it's still a concern. If you break a rear shaft and start spilling trans fluid out of the t case it can hit the exhaust and start a fire. I will attempt to keep it as far away as I can from the fuel lines and t case but there's only so much I can do. I would like to make some sort of aluminum barrier between the t case/ exhaust and fuel and exhaust. Have it mounted to the frame rail or crossmember and have it angled almost like a spill off area that will direct it away from the exhaust.
Also I need to possibly adjust my coil buckets up a tad. I can't tell if it's the slope of the driveway of the added weight. We will see when I start driving it.
Video is on YouTube! It's private let me adjust it and post it up
