Al, that is one very cool set-up. So, when are we going night hunting and fishing. I finally got around to replacing the NVGs that I lost on our last fishing trip. Everything you do to your rig is true internets HUMMER porn!

You need to find some pvs 15s to test out. So much better than the 14s

I have. I have also tried the GPNVG-18s. :D I've had these 14s for some time now, and have a good hang of them. Main reason for not upgrading is because I needed a PVS-27 for my 300 win mag, and couldn't afford both.

The 14s are definitely much better than the pvs7s we used to use. I guess they're like all other electronics. As soon as you get the latest and greatest, they're outdated within a month.

how did the quad eye nods feel on your head? I've worked with guys who were using those but I've never worn them myself

Newest addition to the US Veterans Corps. I call it my baby brother. It's already all blacked out. Snorkel is sitting in garage waiting installation. Won't do any crazy lift. Just TB crank, and slightly bigger tire. They plan to add another H3 to the fleet in the near future.

I keep trying to convince my wife that an H3 would be a far better SAR K9 rig; but I'm not having a lot of luck with that discussion. However, I will say this - when I met her she owned 2 cars, a Prius and a Smart car.... now.... she owns a TDI Jetta, a 325xi BMW wagon and is driving my (I bought for her) Land Rover.... I keep thinking "a little closer, just a little bit closer and you'll be in a Hummer" :)

You must have been lucky and they didn't glue it on like mine. :)

Ha no, mine was definitely glued. Ambient air temp about 68° F, not sure if that played a role in it or not. The glue did fight me hard, but it was off in probably 20 mins.

Sensors are still there. Just moved them up some. I hope to never have to find out if they still work or not.
