Get in line Jay. :D USO wanted to borrow it to put it on display in RDU Airport next to their installations.

Sometimes I wish the NRA was a worldwide organization or at least each country had something similar. One of the best organizations out there, and well worth supporting it.

Been a Life member for a long time. Now a Benefactor. Everyone( who isn't a mindless liberal ) should be a member of the NRA. Welcome to the Life member level Al.

I've been a member for ever. Just couldn't afford the life membership at first. Then I had to wait for my 5 year membership to end. I'm glad I have it now. I didn't get a higher membership because I would rather spread my income with other organizations that help and support the troops.

Wounded Warrior Project, Navy Seal Foundation and USO are three of my favorites. As far as the NRA goes I am also a Golden Eagle supporter and donate regularly to the NRA-ILA. Can't do enough for any of those organizations. My wife is a yearly member of NRA. Yearly membership is perfect for everyone. $35.00/year and you get a great magazine every month also.

He had promised to keep it and was going to stand by his word, and he did. When I got back, it was there. :bd: Turns out the sales manager was a Marine. Thanks Tustin Hummer!!!

It's a small world. I'm pretty sure I was one of the folks who *really* wanted to buy your truck :) -I ended up with another H3 Alpha which I wheeled and loved for 3 years.

Glad the sales manager kept his word, or I would have had to pay you a midnight visit. ;)

Just spent the last 2 hours reading this thread AGAIN and taking notes. The slant back is still my favorite part. How did you get the door handles to work and whats the company?

The door handle are generic truck ones. Don't recall the name. Just bought them from a local truck parts store in Cali. I'm sure HMMWV or CJ door handles should work since they are essentially the same. If you remind me when I get back, I'll take some pics of how it's rigged up.

So hows the ride compared to stock? I know ORE uses dual rate coilovers and take pride in a nice ride for the daily drive aspect but I have never actually heard how it is on pavement.

Comparsion to the JK you have?

It's hard to say for the simple reason that I'm still ironing out issues that never got addressed. Things like pinion angles and drive shaft lengths. A proper alignment hasn't been done either. The ride feels good but it's still not 100%. I'll be swapping out the springs because they ones it has are too soft for an H3. Time will tell. :)

Ok guys and gals. I need some suggestions on diff gearing. I'm upgrading to 40" tires and want to re-gear my D60s. What would you suggest I run considering I have an auto and the Alpha V8? 4.88 is what's in there now with air-lockers. I'm not looking for extreme low rock-crawling gearing, but don't want to feel like I didn't go low enough. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA
