Congratulations!
Had the brake line blow on me while driving on the main road, got nervous having no braking power but it happened while doing 40 mph on an empty road. Being a 5000lb brick meant it didnt take long for it to stop on its own.
It happened on the same day I fixed my other vehicle, the 06 for a bad waterpump that also broke down on me while driving. I had a small chirping noise before it broke down that I attributed to an aged belt, guess I was wrong
It looks like the hose ruptured at the metal support. I had it towed to a mechanic as I dont want to work on the brake system myself

WOW! That is so dangerous!!
Mileage where it happens? Do you receive from the dash any warning light or do you have some brake capacity before total failure of the brake system?
I am considering to replace brake fluid after 120000 miles and 14 years, and I am thinking about replacing brake lines too..
I have 115K miles on my truck. I recall just before that happened an idiot swerved into my lane in order to reach for an exit that he didnt want to miss, and I had to brake really hard and the abs engaged for a split second, i continued driving and thats when I realized im losing brake pressure as I was slowing down for a traffic light. Probably 2 mins on road afterwards until I managed to park safely.

I've had a brake line blow as well and it is not a pleasant situation. The rubber did not rupture on mine, but blew completely off the fitting. 
So there arent any warning lights or whatever when the system loose pressure or loss level of fluid.....damm, that is not relaxing for me now
I made the frame and drawer frame out of 1" square tubing. Drawers are 1/16" steel sheet and top is 1/8" aluminum. I used to have 2 tool bags and a cooler strapped down for trail rides and id have to unstrap everything to get in the cooler or to get to tools. Everything is much more accessible. I'm excited to put it to good use. Here's a link to the build album for more pictures.

Gotta love the rubber trans hose popping off the hardline, all I wanted was a damn McDonald’s Mcgrittle. Hopefully no damage was done, as soon as I felt it slip I shut it off and rolled it back to the side of the road. There is fluid EVERYWHERE under the truck.

Nope, came off from a poor flare job from me. I bypassed the radiator a couple weeks ago. Redid the flares and the trans took 7 quarts to fill back up. Shifts fine, I think I got lucky.

After nearly completing my summer repairs and upgrades I ran into an issue the necessitated a few days away from the H3. I installed new Moog ball joints on the lower control arms and faced the grease zerk fitting towards the inside to facilitate easier access to grease them. WRONG, after everything was reassembled and I was installing the tires I noticed the tire was turning really hard. To my suprise the outer CV was hitting the zerk. I changed from AC Delco because they hit the zerk too. So I was in a really bad mood for a few days ready to get a new ZR2 but cooler heads prevailed, disassembled the front end again, took the arms to the shop and he had a good laugh at my expense and he installed them facing the front for the cost of a case of Corona. You can see where the CV hit the zerk in the pic.
