Replaced the rear brake pads with AC Delco Professional Ceramic. The Hawk Performance Ceramics only lasted @ 7,000 miles. Rotors are in good shape but pads were gone.

I rode home from the hospital today After a 4 Day stay from Back surgery #2. I told the wife to leave the caddy at home and pick me up in my hummer H3, and it rode great on these Michigan rds. I did not yell at her at all. I LOVE MY H3. Oh and the wife to.
I have been in a steady #4 to #6 pain the last 3 or so years and unable to do much of anything. The doctor said my hardware in my back was broken and the disc was moving and had been like like that for some time. excuse any bad typing im on a lot of meds.
glad to be home and walking

Installed front and rear lower control are bushings with Siberian poly bushings. Replaced the front axle support bushings with Outfitter Design poly bushings.

That lower rear was a PITA. I pressed it out half way before I filled my catch cup on my ball press. I sat there for ten minutes staring at it before I realized.... grab the sawall and cut that pressed out portion off. Then I was able to put my ball press back on and finish the job.

Battery was dead. Jumped it. Now the door chimes and radio won't work. Thoughts?

Low voltage? Your battery isn't full charged yet? Therefore why use precious electricity on stupid door chimes and radio when it has to worry about headlights and other important stuff.

It's probably time for a new AGM battery if you haven't upgraded yet. Also the oem terminals are terrible.

Battery problems can cause many electrical problems on our rigs.

Battery was new last summer. I just haven't run the truck in a awhile, I'll hold out on the battery replacement until later. The voltage theory makes sense though.

Took my terminals apart yesterday and cleaned, then left disconnected and charged battery over night. I like things working good!

Made a very Roadkill-esque fix today by taking a hockey puck, drilling a hole in the center, and bolting that sucker over my worn out bushing to secure my wobbly front diff. So far, its working like a charm:cheers:

Ha! Yeah that will work for a bit... but I would get that fixed before the hockey puck starts to crumble, they tend to do that after getting cut into

Yeah it's just a band-aid fix until the replacement bushing comes in the mail, but I was very surprised at how much tighter everything felt after snuggling the diff up. It's amazing how over time as these parts wear out, you get so used to the loose feel of the car and then you change a simple bushing and it feels like a brand new truck
